Problem: Madelung Constant

      Calculate the Madelung constant for the Rb tex2html_wrap_inline5373 C tex2html_wrap_inline5085 compound (see Problem 1.5). Assume that the tex2html_wrap_inline5747 charges are uniformly distributed over each C tex2html_wrap_inline5085 molecule and that the Rb tex2html_wrap_inline5751 ion is pointlike.gif
